Honestly their Offensive line looks pretty good... All 5 of them return.. 3 are rising Juniors and 2 rising Seniors.m... The smallest guy at LG is 210 lbs... The other 4 are 295, 310, 315, and 330 lbs....

4 of the 5 players I saw on the DLine also played on the OLine .... I cant figure out who #51 & #52 are exactly.... Explained why at the bottom of this post...

Offense:

#75 LT (Jr.) (6'4" 310 lbs.) 3* https://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-St-John-46046981

#51 LG (Sr.) Justin Scales - 5'11 ; 210lbs (Not sure this is actually Justin Scales or not)

#54 C (Jr.) (6'1" 315lbs.) https://247sports.com/Player/Peyton-McAfee-46056215

#99 RG (Jr.) Tomiko Walker - 6'2" 330lbs (looks like the biggest guy on the team on film)

#78 RT (Sr.) (6'5" 295 lbs.) 3* https://247sports.com/Player/Ira-Henry-46037653 ... 24 FBS Offers

Defensive Line... Base is a 3 man front: (4 of the 5 I saw play DL also played on the OL)

#51 LDE ... Trinitys site says this is Justin Scales, MaxPreps doesnt have a #51...

#52 DT MaxPreps says this is also Justin Scales... No idea who this is really... But #52 looks smaller than #51.. Id say #52 is Justin Scales, atleast vs. Lutheran North...

#39 RDE (Jr.) Dionnte White (5'10" 220 lbs)

-----

After about 4 plays... #75 & #99  came in on the DL...

#99 (Jr.) Left DE Tomiko Walker - also plays at RG on the OL

#75 (Jr.) Right DE https://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-St-John-46046981 ... Also plays at RT...

Im a little confused on who #51 and #52 are...

At http://www.trinitycatholichigh.org/football-roster.html ... #51 is Justin Scales... And there is no #52...

At http://www.maxpreps.com/m/team/roster.aspx?schoolid=5bcb74d3-d9fd-4fed-aa3a-25c3852eb815&ssid=d7de9baf-87f8-4a16-bf62-ff51dcb7b9d5 ... #52 is Justin Scales and there is no #51...

Yet #51 and #52 are on the DL together vs. Lutheran North. #51 also plays at LG, #52 does not play on the OL

I agree that they look strong.

I am just not sure that they will be able to play successfully both ways against a large roster team like Colquitt.

I could be surprised, but, I think depth will hurt them. Unless they are the most well conditioned players I have ever in my life seen, I can't envision them playing 4 quarters both ways against what Colquitt is bringing. Especially defensively.

Im very interested to see how Colquitts D does vs. Trinity Catholics O... TCs O scored A LOT of points last year and almost all of their offense returns, including all 5 OL... 3 3*s on the OL...they are stacked at the skill positions also... 4* & 3* RB plus a 3* APB ...  4* ATH playing QB ... 2 4* WRs... An insanely loaded offense.

Their D also has some studs, but 4 of their 5 DL do go both ways on the lines... 4* ILB, 3* S, 3* WDE, & a 3* CB...

I think thisll be a 42-28 type game.... Obviously Im going with Colquitt... But TC IS going to be good... Bet they win 2 of 3, or ALL of their games vs. East St. Louis IL, Elder OH, & Lutheran North MO.

16 mins worth of highlights of their game vs Lutheran North...

As explosive as some of their players are, Im surprised they lost... Their 2nd TD was a kick return, their returner absolutely burns everyone on the field and scores with no defenders within 30 yards of him...

L. North won with a little trickeration on O. Takes a lot of discipline on D to defend that O effectively...apparently Trinity Catholic didnt have the discipline needed on D in that game.

BOTH teams in this game above really went out of their way to schedule very good OOS games, apparently both of them think theyll have something special this season.

Left this guy out... He also subs on the DL, he doesnt play on the OL... a rising Junior, hes 6'2" 210lbs

So thats 4 of 6 DLineman that start on the OL also.

Good catch.... I was cringing at that post.

Bad optics....

BGW

He will use anything to promote his agenda

not only is he using CP, he’s using June preseason CP on an algorithm that requires results to calculate

Trinity *** (are they even the 3rd asterisked Trinity? — I’m sure there are better others besides Euless and Louisville)

after the failed campaign last year trying to convince everyone that VM was a top 50 CA team, this is getting okd

for nationally elite team there is no differ nice between Trinity Christian, Stephenson, Etowah, and ISB

Lol....

You still dont get it after ... 6-7 years at the very least.

You never will.

And VM was #43 in CA, 43 is inside of the Top 50 from my recollection of the way #s work ... After October too... So it cant be wrong right?

You keep talking about Etowah...

The year this original conversation was about, was 2016.

In 2016, Etowah beat an OOS team ranked #278 21-14. By 7 points. #278 had a rating of 49.9... Add 7 to that, and its a literal Performance Rating of 56.9 (although CP has it as a 64.9 PR) ...

If a team had a 56.9 Rating in 2016, that puts them at #124.

...

Etowah also beat a team with a 36 rating, 41-0... 36+41 = 77. 77 is a high rating. Which technically would put you at #7 in 2016.

Etowah lost to a team with a 65.7 rating by 3 points... Thats a 62.7 rating... Which is #58-60 nationally in 2016...

5 of their 6 losses were by 1, 3, 4, 4, and 7....

They lost in the 1st round of the playoffs by 1 point to a team that went to the Semifinals....

To straighten your crooked lie... What I said almost word for word was Etowah was actually a power team, that COULD play with back end Top 100 teams... They pretty much proved that. I was surprised they lost as many games as they did... They were much better than #1135...

Like when we argued about Tift Co... I told you they werent really in the 1000s...

----- But you dont know how to read between the lines, you dont understand this ranking system you worship... You are the forum idiot that lies more often than Donald Trump...

I just wanted you to type that VM was #43 in CA

after being indignant this time last year when it was suggested they wouldn’t be top 25

and it’s not really #43 in CA because it favors socal teams by a 13 point differential vs SBG results

more like # 65 in California

of yo still want to strut around correcting me after your flagship program flew this guys across country rather than making a trip themaelves

Actually according to OOS game results... NorCal teams were far more overvalued than SoCal teams... NorCal was the only place I did that was in the Red by over -3 points.

No need to show your ass with flawed results

At the start of playoffs in 2012, DLS was the only NorCal team in top 25 in CA at 9th, when they were in top 10 nationally in every human poll and right before they 4-prayed CA Open by 28 ppg

they were the only NorCal team in top 25 right before granite bay, which earlier lost to the NCS #9 seed, beat Pac5 champs for D1 title (and Pac5 had 15 top 25 teams)

dont use “OOS” or you count every puddly little border game where you only cross 1 RR tracks — count “big games”

although we realize then you’ve got a sample size problem
