BigDrop
His football rankings started soon after USA Today was first published, I believe in 1981. There was a National Prep Poll before them but it never received the attention that his did. Krider directed the USA Today poll for at least 20 years or so.

Well apparently, SOMEBODY took note of previous polls! Since Massillon was anointed National Champion, nine TIMES back in the day, without benefit of a SINGLE STATE title on the field of play!!
