Columbiafan
A already talented roster just got better Keep a eye out on them in 8a south

They do play football in South Florida, don’t they? Regards, BGW
golfaddict1
Granted this is off last year's data, but this isn't a murderers row regular season schedule. Atlantic will likely be worse than last year and PBC beat them last season by a point. That game and Melbourne Catholic likely aren't going to test PBC much with a senior laden squad (especially on D) plus the added transfers. There's nothing left on the schedule until the playoffs. As an example in 8A, Deerfield Beach starts with Chaminade Madonna and Buford and their roster is I'm sure loaded also. https://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=33135&s=304147 If PBC had a schedule to go along with the transfers sure, but for a non FL board thread about a school with nothing on the plate until November and not exactly a name brand for football history for a national board... not surprised on the crickets. In most cases i would agree but they might end up as best team in Palm Beach County and could be best team in 8a south If i had to put money on someone winning 8a south right now it would be them
Columbiafan
They have been biggest beneficiaries of oxbridge falling apart transfer wise I'm actually considering putting them top 10 in FL going into the season, this team is going to be one of most talented teams in FL this year

For now, it's a who? with transfers that have to gel with a coaching staff and execute and keep depth players happy after losing starting spots (some could be seniors). 17 minutes ago, Columbiafan said: They have been biggest beneficiaries of oxbridge falling apart transfer wise I'm actually considering putting them top 10 in FL going into the season, this team is going to be one of most talented teams in FL this year An unknown with new transfers all of a sudden is the cat's meow... DFB annually has the best roster in 8A in terms of recruits and talent. How has that worked out in the playoffs?

DFB also annually losses against other elite teams Hell even average teams with good coaching have been able to beat DFB (Bolles) Could Palm Beach Central turn into another DFB and be a team loaded in talent but exit early, sure But for the moment they don't have that baggage that DFB has of being a team that chokes in the playoffs But considering how many teams look to be down in FL this year PBC might have the best timing to make something happen

Maybe if PBC has a great year they might start playing bigger opponents Wekiva and viera both started playing out of state games after big years PBC might take same route

They benefit from another flash in the pan that folded. As Golf said, their schedule isn't tough either, so for now, nothing to write home about. First time I ever even heard of the school. Hard to get overly excited. I suppose they should run the table on their schedule? And then blow out the competition in the playoffs? I'm more curious as to why our Miami Central and Booker T crowd is so quiet. Palm Beach Central... Ehhhh.

Everyone got to start somewhere St Thomas Aquinas didn't just become powerhouse day 1 Miami Northwestern didn't build their reputation in a day Rome wasn't built in a day, they could end up a flash in the pan or could become another powerhouse But to completely dismiss them because they don't already have a huge name is crazy, sure they need to prove it but there's no denying the potential they have with this roster, after all they did grab a linebacker transfer from St Thomas Aquinas, there is heavy buzz with these guys

Booker T Washington will be decent but idk if they will just easily replace Richardson who transferred to Carol City Carol City definitely looks like the team to watch but Miami Central and Miami Northwestern did replace a lot of talent they lost to graduation through transfer season, the south Florida guys i talked to thought i had both Miami Central and Miami Northwestern at the right spot in my rankings and they were both in my top

You just wondered why there wasn't pages and pages of discussion about a team that none of us know a thing about... Outside of they're benefiting from transfers galore from another school. I explained why. I'm sure that I'll be interested to find out how they fare. I have nothing by way of discussing. Looks like a train wreck in slo mo honestly. Oxbridge folds and sends a bunch of kids scrambling. They happen to be landing at this school that has a wack schedule. Maybe they'll pull a Grayson and hog 'em a ring.

Wouldn't be surprised if they did 8a is a good class but lacks national elite teams at the top like 6a has 8a is the type of class that would probably have 20 different teams in the top 100 in FL but maybe 1 in the top 10 if that makes sense
