Per “Scoop” Cooper SJR back in Group 4 for this season!

DePaul still in Group 3 and will roll to another title.  Though I hear rumors Bishop Ahr has been doing 3-a-days since June 1 and may shock the world...

that is good news..definitely helps to make sure the #1 team in the state is actually has to prove it in the post season

If sjr really is #1 in the state they are gonna have to prove it every week

the great thing about it is that the regular season game while important doesn't have the last say. Too many times over the years SJR has ended #1 because of winning a regular season showdown and then running over Non-Public 3.

Exactly now you have to beat BC spp pc dbp at least 1x before you win the state champ

These guys just don't get that the SEC schools are just not attractive to most NJ ballers. Less Vandy.

Yes that tends to be the pattern. Most NJ products are going big ten or acc. Most of them know that they will never see the league so they get that education

"Scoop" published an article on northjersey.com breaking down the classifications.  1 interesting thing is Mater Dei is now a co-op with the Ranney School (they are big rivals in basketball), and will be a Group 3 school instead of Group 2.  Mater Dei came out of nowhere about 2 years ago when they hired new coach Dino Mangiero from Poly Prep.  They have been dogged by rumors of recruiting issues since that time.  I wonder how they'll fare in NP3.

Like these guys know how to save. Watch the 30 for 30 titled "Broke."

Yes I understand how many of them go broke. Unfortaunely schools today do not teach real life application. Everything is theory. Maybe if they taught interest rates how much to save for things and the like maybe future generations will be better off. But I guess well see that when common sense is taught in school....that'll never happen

The great colleges teach those things. Mediocre publics not so much.

PS Any bank teller can teach these things in 10 mins. Stop blaming. People need to take matters into their own hands.

Not blaming but could help. Yes you can have personal responsibility but again not everyone has that either. If you paid me 800k a year I would never be in debt.

They ALL need to do a stint in the military, to see how to STREEEEEETCH a dollar! The only way we made a living wage, was through the addition of sea pay and hazardous duty pay, plus it was tax exempt! THAT brought it up to a very nice $.30 an hour! Course, it WAS twenty four hours a day!😱

A buddy of mine did 3 tours in Afghanistan because he liked the combat pay as a marine.
