Gurus...the opening game for the Hawgs should be fun, fun, fun,

Colquitt vs Spain Park.

These are some of Rush's closest and bestest friends....LOL.

You probably won't be able to FEEL THE LOVE when these two teams lock horns.

At least it won't be hot and humid.....

Uh, wait a sec....

kinda the same for West Monroe, my Rebs are undefeated vs the NOLA Catholic League save for 1 team...  Holy Cross.  The Rebs and the Tigers have never met on the field before today

Hoss...I'm gonna speak with the Packer Touchdown Club President and tell him to use his substantial influence in coordinating a tete-a-tete between Rush and Coach Arledge.  Maybe we can get something set up.  I'm also intrigued by a game tween the Hawgs and the Rebs.

I suppose ifin we had to...we could give Willie Robertson a call and have him make the intros....(Smile).

Shoot...I bet Rush could find a place to play in Birmingham.

Started the Corky 7 on in a similar slow type fashion.

Yep...that seems to be our history of late.  I'm guessing Jaycee's lack of reps have something to do with that.  But like "Doc" always says....

"it ain't how ya start that matters...it's how ya finish"

I hope we get that part right...LOL.

Hopefully the slow start is out of the way.

We didn't score just gobs of points like Spain Park and Hoover, but, defensively, we didn't allow as many points as some of the teams ahead of us either.

Only Spanish Fort at 4-0 and Spain Park at 4-0 allowed less points on the day. Of course, they both scored more also. Great days for those teams yesterday.

From what I was told...Rush was only "semi-happy" about the 3-1 start.  Seems he was under the impression we could have and should have...played better.  Honestly...getting a decent seeding in the tournament...and playing WELL in the tournament...are what matters.  No matter how hard we try...we can't all be perfect.....like Rab.

Alas...it definitely should be our goal in life......
