After getting shellacked by St. Thomas Aquinas last season, Indians want to get playoff ready

It's articles like these that make the shellacking all the more satisfying.

What about the article makes the shellacking more satisfying? The guy is saying they will most probably have to get by STA if they hope to win a championship, and IMG is the closest thing as far as number of athletes at all positions to prepare as best they can for STA. Sounds reasonable. That makes you want to beat them worse?

A sub-headline that warms even my ice-cold heart.

This is a weird post.

"Knowing we have to go through St. Thomas Aquinas to win a championship, they have the same type deal as St. Thomas has with the players they have,"

"I thought it would be a good way to play against that type of program that can choose their athletes and have four or five stars across the board"

Typical whiny coach and program.

Go down their schedule last year and look at the beat-downs that they put on people. Go look at their roster and see how many kids they have that aren't from Venice. Go look at the video of a drunk Venice mother accosting Roger Harriott on our own field after the game.

No class. No tact. Whiners.

It was very satisfying to end their season.

Yes, I read that. Not exactly bulletin board material.

Apparently we've got three posters who don't appreciate it.

I took it that he appreciated your "warms even my ice-cold heart" comment, not the supposed dastardly accusations you are concerned with in the article.

It is to us.

Just like we shouldn't normalize Trump's behavior, we don't normalize this kind of garbage.

I didn't mean to bury the lead.

The crux of my post was about the satisfaction in ending the seasons of programs like Venice.

So STA doesn't like being called out for what they really are..

No. They don't like ignorant coaches spreading lies and misconceptions in the press.

They take specific pleasure in beating such coaches into a pulp and then watching them scramble in January to fill their schedule in preparation for the next meeting.

STA and IMG are the same exact thing when it comes to the football programs.

They operate the same way. They import high profile players from their specified recruiting grounds and would not be able to compete without multiple high profile stud transfers.

The only difference between STA and IMG is STA gets to make a mockery of high school athletics by competing in a classification

"If they transferred to STA by at least their Junior year and ended their high school career as at least a 4 star. It's in the dozens."  - Nolebull813

The actual number is 8.

The issue with people like Nolebull813 is that you can't embarrass them enough for their lies because they have no shame.

He will read the facts, dust himself off and then just repeat the same lie next time.

Rinse, repeat.
