Grimes injury certainly allowed the other WR's to get more looks during the season.

WR Jonathan Moore - FIU to Kent State

WR Josh Palmer - Syracuse to Tennessee

WR Michal Harley Jr - West VA decommit, likely the U commit

RB  Kyshaun Bryan - South Carolina decommit, either Iowa or Pitt

WR Jordan Merrell - FAU verbal, visited Cincy and USF this month... probably would have decommitted by now, so likely sticking with FAU

--- some other recent verbals from STA:

OL Zach Sweeney  -  UCLA

OL Kedonis Haslem - Toledo

DT Jason Dooling- Lehigh

S   Myles Wright -  Florida Tech

Tennessee, U, Iowa, UCLA, some MAC schools. That's a strong class.

Now, how about where the starters will be going?

11 FBS commit seniors (Counting Thomas as he'll likely flip from Nebraska, not the Pensacola kid at the top, different HS) currently plus 7 from the 18 and 19 class combined... BTW was loaded and it showed vs AHP and the week after vs. STA.  What happened after you'd have to ask Ice Harris.

Why,how and explain  your comment....  Are you saying he can't coach those kids, would not make them better????

Yes.

I'm saying that all the reasons why old, crusty men like you love Toal is because he stomps out individualism and and makes players conform to his style and not the other way around.

No he does not, rather has them play as a team...

The 'play as a team' line is used by old men to say that he whips people into line.

Again, that's great when you don't have a lot of good player (and Bosco hasn't had that many) but it's quite different when you've got talent.

Los is a fan of a recruited up all star team comprised of rented players from local high school teams.

If you took all the stud transfers off their team they look like the team Lakeland was stomping mud holes in for years.

STA is a football factory for "me" not "we". Nothing about that program will enhance your character.

Im mean look at Canes. That's what kind water boys they churn out ?

Noted it in my mention.  But after further review it looks like 10 FBS because Reardon is still showing FAU commit, but that's a recruit Kiffin dropped with weak sauce communication (as with many new HC's as we've seen in the past and this season) and he's likely going FCS.

The article about Ice that Caj posted mentioned 12 signees on NSD.  Not sure if that included Reardon or not.

Fyi on James Robinson, he stated last night he won't be signing on NSD (for obvious reasons).

Re:  Toal, I suppose we could have found out when Casullo departed... he liked to travel to FL lol.

You must not realize that every good Catholic school is accused of the same thing.

Even Greg Toal's school.

But please continue making no sense.

The 2004-05 teams (which got stomped) had more transfers on the roster than the 1997-98 teams (which beat Lakeland and lost by 4) did.

More nonsensical ranting from a guy who knows nothing about high school football or STA football in particular.

Quite possibly a nominee for Stupid Post of 2017, so far.

Greg Toal has coached at many schools.

People worship him as their hero. Not Don Bosco.

How is playing as a team different with or without all stars.

The approach is different.

Playing as a team is always a good thing.

But it's easier to get kids to buy-in when you're coaching Penn State and Boston College type programs.

Also, why is it,according to you and stupid to boot, a line used by old men..

I can't be the only one to have noticed that for almost the entire history of man, old white men have waxed nostalgic about the old days and pined for more 'discipline' and less 'celebrating' during football games.

Most of the guys came from boring programs that wore all-white uniforms and ran the pro-set.

No worship as it's like you and George Smith when he coached...When Toal retires, the approbation, like with Smith will become less vocal.. NO WORSHIP.

I don't worship anybody or anything.

You and others worship at the altar of Toal.
