ChimpGrip
I'm going to write a new article in a few months over a particular team. What would you say is a lot of points to allow over a 16 game season? 250+? 300+?
ATLien12x
Depends on the schedule. 250 isn't bad as it's only 15ppg. In fact, that's good enough to win you most high school games. I'd consider that good. 300 is average, that's about three touchdowns a game

Would have to take into account overall schedule to see what was actually accomplished!
Sammyswordsman
St. Paul gave up 28 points playing Top Competition and in 12 games

Sammyswordsman
Yep. Nelson was a soph that year. His little brother Kevin was really good too.

Now it's St. Matthias/Saint Pius Academy. I grew up living next to this school It became a predominately girl school in the mid 90's. Pius was caught using ineligible players during the 91 football season. The last season I recall this school having any football success.

ChimpGrip
I see the key factor here is strength of schedule. I guess I'll have to bring up opposing offense numbers and maybe compare them to that year's national average.
