ohio
Team USA had a good showing winning 3 gold, a silver, and 3 bronze medals. Their best performance in a long time. The match of the tournament was between two Olympic and world champions, Kyle Snyder and Sadulaev (Russia). Last year Sadulaev moved up a weight class to face Kyle Snyder. The Russian was destroying everyone in his weight class, so he challenged Snyder. Kyle Snyder ended up winning the match in a close 6-5 decision. Snyder was trash talking by saying that he would beat the Russian by a bigger score than last year and that Sadulaev should never have moved up to his weight class. In this years tournament, Sadulaev was destroying everyone by scores of 11-0, 14-3, 10-0, and 10-0 on route to the final. While Kyle Snyder had a tougher time getting to the final, winning 8-3, 10-0, 11-2, and 3-0. In the final, Sadulaev got his revenge, by pinning Kyle in 70 seconds. Here are other results if anyone is interested. Can't find any videos of this match though. http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/opentournaments/MainFrame.jsp?newSession=false&TIM=1540596830548&pageName= and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_World_Wrestling_Championships
