Healthcare in America

Obv a major topic in america today and will be going forward esp in the Democrat debates

So the democrats have been trying to get universal healthcare approved since at least nixon was in office. Ted kennedy proposed this but Nixon didnt want that much government control which is still the same fight today 50 years later. We have government running medicare and Medicaid and as far as I know both those systems are completely messed up. Healthcare is also not a right because our founding fathers didnt want it becoming a socialist program like in Japan and the UK. People also living longer in this country is not a good thing and I read today life in this country has gotten shorter on average esp among young people. Teddy roosevelt also believed yes healthcare was needed but he himself did not push for it. He left it to outside programs. Again because healthcare doesnt belong in our government. In the past the american medical association was against universal healthcare as well.

This sounds exactly like what the democrats are doing today

The Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill was introduced in 1943, proposing universal health care funded through a payroll tax. If the history of healthcare thus far could be a lesson for anyone, the bill was faced with intense opposition and eventually drowned in committee. Truman tried again to pass universal healthcare and the people of America said it was SOCIALIST. Same thing today. It is still being introduced by the democrats and it's still a socialist program which we dont want in this country.

so the democrat proposals for healthcare is nothing new. It was rejected in the past and should always be rejected. You are not guaranteed health care. I am against being able to walk into a hospital if you dont have it or cant afford ur treatment.

The Democrats are proposing a losing program which has been losing for at least 50 years. The people have rejected it in the past and continue to reject it today
