We can be certain the Right IS stupid enough to screw it all up

In a time when simply being reasonable, truthful and mindful of the Constitution would be enough to secure easy political wins- to the benefit of all of society- we can be sure the Right will screw it all up.
 

They’ll likely nominate a known cheat, who’s never gotten more votes than his opponent in an election, to run for another term as President in 2024, perhaps even unopposed in a primary. 

And, they’re already screwing up an otherwise very necessary fight against sick ideological indoctrination of children in schools with equally sick attempts to ban ideas and books vis-a-vis sloppily written bills in many states. Andrew Sullivan wrote about that Here.
