Bormio Posted February 9, 2022 Report Share Posted February 9, 2022 Sen. Lujan from New Mexico had a stroke 2 weeks ago, but not a garden variety one. He had a cerebellar bleed that had to be surgically evacuated. Hemorrhagic strokes are always dicey and are associated with higher morbidity and mortality. They are saying it will be at least 6 weeks before he can return. If he had to resign or even worse happened, the Governor of New Mexico is a Democrat, but until then, on a highly partisan vote, the Democrats cannot count on Harris being able to break a tie. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
