HooverOutlaw Posted August 2, 2021 Report Share Posted August 2, 2021 This was an all black school their first year in the AHSAA. They were in the AIAA which was a black school league. Coach Haywood Scissum was the first person to run the spread in Alabama history. In the 60's he was running 4 and 5 WR sets before the term spread was used. This high school went on to form Sylacauga High school.
