I can only assume they mean official replay review, even though, not surprisingly, due to the shit journalism we have these days, it's not specified. So my points below will be in relation to instant replay official review. - Replay review sucks and has never been done well. The pros don't out way the cons in my opinion. - I don't want HS football ruined. - I don't want an already slow game slowed down even more. - It is unfathomable how poor a job would be done. - It would be extremely rare for a stadium to have decent shots of plays/camera angles/camera work. - The quality of shots of plays will never be at a high level, and uniform even at the 6A level. - It's more likely that football will be outlawed before the quality of shots of plays will be both at a high level, and uniform at every 6A stadium. - I'd be strongly against just doing replay review at only some games at a particular level. - I could go on and on. How would HS football be ruined by them trying to get the calls right? Dont the players deserve to have the calls right on the field You would need cameras all over the field so your right there im not sure how they would get the amount of cameras they would need over every hs football field. How could anyone have confidence that shitty high school refs will get video reviews right when they often don't at higher levels? It will just slow down the game and piss people off more. If they are overturning calls at lets say 40-50 percent thats significant. At the end of the day the calls have to be right.
chalmetteowl
My issue is not every school can afford the camera system needed, and also the unfairness of only the perceived higher level schools having it. The rules have to be the same for Allen High as they are for Sabine Pass
