Nolebull813
Howard beating UNLV was the biggest upset based on the spread in college history. They were 45 point favorites. If you bet $100 for Howard to win outright, you would have won $55,000
Nolebull813
Plus Liberty I think is trying to get into FBS soon. And Baylor is still in shambles from all the controversy surrounding them. Howard is a really bad FCS team. Not just an average or good one but a TERRIBLE one. I know UNLV is shit on an FBS level but this would be a upset if Howard beat a 5-5 FCS team.

Gator 82
It seems the point spread was a little over inflated. Secondly, UNLV should have never been 45.5 point favorites against any team. They had one of the worst defenses in FBS last year and this years defense is comprised of a lot of JC guys, transfers and true freshmen, but with that said UNLV should have dominated this team. No excuses for that. I think Baylor/Liberty was a bigger upset considering Baylor is still a P5 school even with the circus that's currently going on within their program. Not to mention the resources Baylor has compared to UNLV is not even comparable. Believe it or not, their are some here in Vegas that aren't surprised by last nights results. It wouldn't be the first time in recent years that UNLV has lost on opening night to an FCS team. Northern Arizona, Southern Utah both beat UNLV at home in recent years. Nolebull813
Seems like UNLV would fit in nicely at the FCS level. What is the biggest reason these teams stay doormats in FBS? Is it money? I'm sure going 10-2 in FCS will create more buzz and excitement than 2-10 seasons in FBS every year.
