The difference, is these other first world countries, apply all that revenue towards free universal healthcare. We chose to fund other things. Giving everything away for free we just put more strain on The middle class, and give less incentive for the lower class to do better. Everyone praises Canada but everything you see with US and Canada prices are way different it will say US $14.99 Canada $17.99 It says that on everything that has both countries prices on it. Providing free or even affordable healthcare is not socialism. But since you like socialism so much. YOUR state is a socialist state, considering all the welfare and food stamp entitlement programs it is currently raping.
