In 1979 I sold beer for the Orioles (went to college in Baltimore).  Beer was $1.10 - and we had to lug the bottles around in the stands.

Lol my old man is from Baltimore, so O's are my second favorite team. Memorial stadium? You just missed seeing the Birds get a ring of it wasn't for "We are family"

Orioles led 1-0 midway through game 7.  I was selling a beer to a guy and heard a loud crack.  Turned around - Al Bumbry was looking up.  Stargell had just gone deep for a 2-1 lead.  Pirates won 4-1.

Loved that you could still see the field lined for the Colts in the outfield. It's the F ing WS and the field could host a 7 on 7! Oakland is the last of the dual use stadiums.

I had forgotten that!  I have been to Camden Yards, and it is a neat park, but old Memorial Stadium has a lot of memories.  I watched more pro games there than anywhere else in my life.  And the town still misses the Colts - that town loved them.

Yeah I remember driving by Memorial in 82' when I went out there. Have been to Camden and loved it. Love AT&T, but trying to hit PNC next year. Loved Wrigley and Fenway, like churches to me. Going to Petco next month for annual trek, fun stadium and Gas Lamp right there.

As much as it pains me, Dodgers stadium is clean as shit and has that retro feel to it and is a good baseball experience.
