rockinl
Figured this may be a good place to get some advice on this... Contemplating a rewards/miles card. Will likely pay monthly utilities (cant directly pay mortgage or vehicle payments with it) and dining/travel with it to build points.Always pay cash for travel and dining, but feel we are missing out on some freebies by not using a rewards card and paying it off every month.Opinions? Why do you always pay cash for dining and travel as long as using a credit card doesn't increase your propensity to spend, you should put everything on one credit card and elect the automatically pay off every month option if you're not in position to do that, get yourself there by building up enough cash to cover the monthly nut also go for cash back not airline miles -- better value and those miles rewards are always a pain in the ass to use anywhere or anytime popular and still cost fees
thc6795
Always go for the cash back option. I agree using the free miles for travel is a huge pain in the ass.
