TheRealCAJ
Etienne, put up huge numbers his senior season at 3A Jennings High last year. He doesn't seem to have any problems adjusting to the college game. Just run! "Jennings running back Travis Etienne claimed the Offensive MVP award on the Class Louisiana Sportswriters Association Class 3A All-State team. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Etienne rushed for 2,952 yards with 43 touchdowns and added 251 receiving yards with three TDs. He had four return scores and finished with 50 TDs." http://www.theadvocate.com/acadiana/sports/high_schools/article_89bf9019-3077-5db0-9028-87d3cfffdaa7.html

He was the best RB in Louisiana last year. #16 rated RB nationally. I don't know what the freshman stats are of the Top 5 high school RBs from last year , but #16 nationally (Etienne) is doing OK. Guess I could check. https://247sports.com/Season/2017-Football/RecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&Position=RB

Legit 4.4 forty RB RB Travis Etienne broke CJ Spiller's freshman rushing TD record. "For 11 years, no one could pass Spiller and his Tigers freshman record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 10, which he accomplished in 2006. But then came Etienne, who on Saturday in Clemson's 61-3 win over The Citadel became the new record holder. Etienne, from Jennings, La., tied Spiller’s record in the first quarter with a 6-yard score, then broke it in the third with a 7-yard touchdown. He now officially has 11 rushing touchdowns for the season and is the Tigers’ leading rusher with one game left on the regular season schedule against South Carolina. Earlier in the season, he got the chance to meet the 30-year-old Spiller."
