rockinl
I can also understand why a lot of eye Drs dont have it done or recommend it. Loss of future business.

Cons, 1 in 10 chance of hell. Yes, I have had it. I have no horror story, I have nothing positive to say. I will not do surgery (or medication) of any kind unless my life is threatened. Why? Experience.

A little extreme but I mostly share your sentiments. The country is way over medicated. A healthy lifestyle (good, fresh food and exercise) will prevent many an ailment. And prevention always trumps (pun intended) cure!

After 11 years of wearing them I reverted to glasses. I did research Lasik at the time, but did not like some of the potential effects. That was back in the early 1990s, though. And things have improved.

I am cognitive that my refusal to listen to doctors may well cost me my life one day . But guess what, if I listed to them would not be here today.
