noonereal
Today is Palm Sunday and being brought up Catholic today is an important day. the church will be packed Other than Easter and Christmas, this is the busiest day of the year. I recall as a youth, in the church basement, splitting the palms all week that are given away. No pay, just a note on your after life card for St Peter to see that might help if you are 50/50 at the pearly gates. So I got to thinking... Why does the church not do more "giveaways?" As they use unpaid child labor it's very low cost. Heck, they could partner with the local businesses like the Yankee's do. Free "Pizza Town" tee shirt with each contribution type stuff. Anyway, that was my thought on this holy day.
HawgGoneIt
IDK why the Catholic Church doesn't do more "give aways". I wonder a lot of things about a lot of churches though. Like why do many churches have missionaries in other countries giving medical and food, but seem to have much less "presence" in their own community? Why do people spoil their church by "cliquing" up and gossiping about the people in the other cliques? There are many questions that could be asked about the church. I hope you find answers to your questions. I figure that you know the answers inside yourself and are just attempting to pull others along.
