UGA President apologizes for calling GOP gubernatorial candidate “a nice guy”

Said he knew Brian Kemp since childhood and that he was a really nice guy and a friend.  That bit of heresy earned him the racist label from the Twitter mob and he actually felt compelled to apologize.  What is worse ... the Twitter mob or the fact that the UGA President is a yellow coward?

The problem is people don't stand up for their beliefs unapologetically.

The President should have said he was a friend and a great guy. And when they criticized him it would have been the perfect time to refuse to cave to political correctness and open a dialogue about the censoring of free speech.

A college President opening discussion about his experience with people trying to bully him and infringe on his 1st amendment would have been a great start to end this campus craziness.

They need to start defunding public universities who commit these egregious acts
