Was a discussion on another thread about private school #'s in the rankings...   thought I'd share a look at what Jeff Fisher projected end of year '16 for top 25's separating the two...  he has a hybrid algorithm rating system using essentially the Massey ratings and then adding new criteria and tweaking with the system annually.  

"The Public vs. Private debate gets louder-and-louder each year, but for the second straight year, there are more public schools in our final national Top 50 rankings than private schools. The final tally for 2016 is the same as 2015 when we expanded our national rankings created with our proprietary algorithm from 25 to 50 teams — 29 public schools, 21 private schools."  http://highschoolfootballamerica.com/bishop-gorman-nevada-2016-national-champs/  (top 50 reflecting the 29/21).
