I wasn't aware of this.....I knew Picayune came into the game ranked #2 in Mississippi depending on what poll you use.

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV) — The back-to-back state champion Maroon Tide suffered its first loss since 2021 following a 36-35 overtime loss to Catholic-B.R. from Louisiana.
