Middlegafan
His notions to relocate to an area which assured him a state championship, AND be near his new university, MAY have hit a snag. SEEMS as though whomever anointed the wild dogs the trophy already. MAY have been a tad premature. And the problem maybe BUFORD, IT'S OWNSELF. So far, they're playing like the gang who couldn't shoot straight. THAT, plus the GHSA has produced not ONE, but FOUR possible snags for the 2023 season. And if that weren't enough, they seem to struggle against EVERY FRICKING team they play. And they can't ALL be WORLD BEATERS. Lets check the track record, shall we? They scored 18 against SFA. Which may have been impressive, but I think that the Merrylanders have a few holes in their armor this season. And THEN, the team from NORTH CAROLINA, for gosh sakes, sceeeered the beGEEEZERS out of um, up in Sasquatch country. Their D seems to be keeping them afloat, albeit against teams with less that stellar offensive prowess. And THIS week, they were played pretty much EVEN STEPHEN, against an inner city school who was doing Buford a favor, cause the coaches are brothers from another mother, from back home. NOW, enter the FOUR HORSEMEN of the Peach State. ALL of whom are averaging over forty points per game, against pretty formidable competition. And two over sixty points per game. And ONE even popped Buford's 7A cherry LAST season, in front of the home field carpetbaggers. And guest what ladies and germs., Walton is BETTER than they were last season, when then stole Buford's cookies. They slid by Sweet Lawrence's Marietta Blue DEVILS tonight, 60-7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And me thinks that Mill Creek, who blew Cedar Grove a NEW one tonight, just MAY be better than Walton. And then there are those two semi finalist from last season to contend with in a FOUR WEEK SPAN. Something that NO BUFORD team has EVER been forced to contend with, in their FORTY YEAR DOMINATION of the GHSA Bush Leagues. WELCOME to the BIGS, doggies.

Bolden and Eddrick Houston, Buford would be AVERAGE, at best. And it remains to be seen, if K.J. can be at three places at once, on D. And while he is resting, Buford has to rely upon hisownself to be their main target on O, as well. And their second main man at receiver just went down last night. Time will tell what's what with that injury. It looked as though it may be a labrum tear. PLUS, since Buford had never HAD to throw in the past. Their OL is LOST at protecting the QB1. Raiola was under pressure all night long, until Carver wilted from fatigue in the second half.
