It’s pretty far from anywhere else. Hard to imagine how tightly knit a sprawling community of 330,000 people can be though. I can definitely see how they might be wary of outsiders coming in to start trouble. mid it wasn’t so freaking hot and dusty (due to the agriculture) might be a nice place to live.
