Didn't they win those last three games anyway? No doubt the #1 QB made them better but they seem to have done ok as a team without him. 3 hours ago, Wosinc said: Yes they did. A travesty. Or travesties. Jordan Travis got injured in the 58-13 win against FCS North Alabama. They beat 5-7 Florida and 10-4 Louisville with their 2nd and 3rd string QBs. They threw for no touchdowns, and only scored three total TDs across both games (all rushing) with total yards of 224 and 219 respectively. The situation is terrible for FSU, but making an argument that they are one the best four teams remaining is pretty difficult. If you want to discuss that they had one of the best four seasons, I think you can make a decent case. It's crazy unfortunate, but it is what it is this year.
badrouter
This is very, very good news for FSU. They were going to get stomped by UGA regardless. But now they can say "Hey, we were totally going to win if not for all of the opt-outs".
badrouter
IMO, if Georgia would've beaten 'Bama, FSU would've been in. But, once 'Bama won, and they HAD to put them in, they also had to include Texas given the 'Horns road win over 'Bama.
