But DeBoer has put together a solid staff and I think the offense he and Ryan Grubb put together could be among the best in the SEC. I was hoping he could pick up Jeremy Pruitt as DC as he helped put together some of the best defenses ever at Bama but I guess he’s not an option for any school until 2029. I have no expectations of winning anything in 2024. We could go on and drop four games but Saban is gone and it’s a new era. The previous yearly expectations are gone now. It's more about making the 12 team college football. playoffs now. Will be a bunch of 1 and 2 loss teams in the playoffs. The SEC will most likely have 3-5 teams in the playoffs. Ole Miss doesn't play Alabama this year and the front end of their schedule is really not that strong. They will finish with LSU, Oklahoma and Georgia though at the back end.
