Bormio
Di Fi losing would be surprising, but not shocking (her opponent is far left). But the GOP winning the California governorship would be amazing. New polling has both races in single digits, with John Cox only down 5. And Newsom has long been assumed to be governor one day. Cox winning would give the GOP a voice in California redistricting in 2020.
Nolebull813
The only silver lining with California going so far off the deep end is it attracts all the illegals, and criminals there. So if illegals do break into the country, California is the best place for them.

Redistricting that favors one party over the other is a horrible way to govern and is inheritantly unfair. Why is an unfair system better than a fair one? Better to have a populace that doesn't have reason to be questioning the system than a populace that does imo. There is enough to deal with as it is without your vote being manipulated.
