Bodysurf
How about we just have the players get in a circle, hold hands and talk about their feelings. Then we give everybody a trophy for participating and call everybody a winner. https://www-m.cnn.com/2019/02/28/health/pop-warner-bans-three-point-stance-bn/index.html?utm_source=fbCNN&utm_term=link&utm_medium=social&utm_content=2019-03-01T03%3A31%3A37&r=http%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com
Bormio
Trying to protect the heads of kids 6-10 is not “killing football”. And it might make more parents willing to let their kids play at that age - and maybe some of those would continue on in junior high and high school. Now if high schools do this ... I agree with you.
ThunderRam
I'm so sick to death of this topic. Let your kids play or don't. Let your kids do things that come with risk or don't. But don't try to take away my right to make the same choice. There are lots of other dangerous activities to adults and minors alike. Far too many to list. And they aren't drastically changing or outlawing those activities. Leave football be and let people make their own choices. Done.
Bodysurf
Agree with you all. Let parents decide what is best for their young kids. I’m all for making the game safe but I don’t like to fundamentally change the essence of the sport.
