He seems to think that the competition is comparable, when its not even close. The times of each participant listed is not even debatable. I guess the Desoto guys would suddenly run longer times if they were to travel to Nola. That's really the only explanation.

Here's TX track in a nutshell for you.....has nothing to do with NOLA

You have Billy Bud from some 6A school winning the shot, Billy Bud from another school winning the mile, another Billy Bud winning the discus from a school in West TX, and etc all through the state meet.....then you have Desoto winning 2 relays sometimes 3 and being crowned TX team champ....

The people in TX don't really like the fact that the relay sprints get double points.

I don't make the rules.....you don't get double relay points in college or many states that I know of.....it's all BS.

Put it like this.....

There are 17 events at both the Louisiana and Texas state meets.

At the 6A Texas State Meet Desoto had Top 10 finishes.....out of 17 events.

If Baton Rouge Catholic using their state meet times here competed at the 6A Texas State Meet they would have had 11 Top 10 finishes....out of 17 events.

That's strong!

Even an idiot like you can see that...

This is hard for simple minds. In Texas only 2 people can advance to state in each event in the Regionals (4 Regions) only 9 Kids can go to State.  Top 2 in each region and the next fastest time out of all Regions.   B.R. Freaking Catholic scored 96 pts in La.  That is damn impossible here.  The relays are doubled because of that reason no school will send a bunch of kids.  Hell we have had teams with 1 super kid win State by themselves at the lower level.  Because no school will have a boatload of athletes @ State here in Texas.  Why waste time on someone that don't know a damn thing about Track.  You have kids running 10'5s in Texas at home. Now what District would B.R. Catholic make it of with their times across the board. They would get damn smoked in the District meets.  Desoto kids dominated them in 2016, 2017 and will in 2018  across the board as previously shown.  But they would magically have all these kids running and jumping at State in Texas. Idiotic.  I see why this dude is called so many names each day.  He is dense.

As a matter of fact in Texas most Schools will score in Single Digits at State.  It's called competition and depth

2015 as an example.  But somehow B.R. Catholic would rule the day with those slow ass kids.  And this is with Double points In the Relays

You have no idea how hard it is to win a Relay in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 here.  Ask Desoto.  You will catch hell finding a team here

with more than 3 participants outside of the relays in State in all classes. There are rare exceptions and this includes the beast Desoto.

I was recruited for track in high school, but declined due to playing soccer year around. The wanted me to run the 1600 after the coached bet me that I couldn't do it in less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I got my $10 after running it in 4:49 seconds. Little did I know that would have put me at or near the top nationally. But hey, I hated running unless had a ball at my feet.

10 years and a few thousand packs of cigarettes have cost me a lot of time. Lol

Brotha whatever you do ditch the cigarette habit. I smoked from 17-28 and haven't had a cigarette in 25 years. That was a bitch of a habit.

By the time it started to cost a car note for the habit I quit.  I saw the other day a pack of cigs for $6.  Damn
