Y’all should read about the election of 1832

Jackson’s supporters were “stupid”, “uneducated”, “rubes”.  The elites thought Clay could not lose - instead he got stomped into a mud hole.  Hell, Jackson got censured by Congress during his first term - in his second, he got the censure expunged.  He railed against the national Bank - and in the end he won a fight no one thought he could win.  And in the minds of everyone except today’s snowflakes, he was one of the 5-10 greatest Presidents of the United States.

Will read up on it. Thanks.

I just finished the First Conspiracy The Plot to Kill George Washington by Brad Meltzer.

Parallels in that book are quite similar to now as well.

Most people don’t know that in the late 1700s William Tryon, the Governor of New York and David Mathews, the mayor of NYC, were loyalists to the British crown and King George III and enemies of both colony freedom and George Washington. Both tried to have him captured and assassinated by a scheme of infiltrating his lifeguards, or the dozen soldiers closest to Washington to protect his life. One lifeguard, Thomas Hickey, was hung for his failed involvement.

Tryon is the modern day salami  chuck Schumer while Mathews is that jerkoff Deblasio.

Tories were the modern day Democrat traitors siding with British who opposed the patriots and the Revolution.

Democrats want to be under one rule of the a handful of elites and globalists dictating policy from Brussels just as the Tories wanted to keep the status quo under the British monarchy.

It’s redundant but educational.

Washington was a quite a man. People don’t realize the revolution lasted  7-8 years and countless times Washington was cornered by the British but he outsmarted them time and time again. The British had the world’s finest navy,  better Troops, more weapons and gunpowder. Plus, traitors like Tryon funneled payments to many of George’s troops to flip sides as well as getting ordinary citizens to join the side of King George III. Washington had no navy, less skillful troops, less gunpowder and guns but pulled it off even with resistance from the Tories in the colonies. That’s On top of knowing that their was an evil plot from the inside to try and take him out (sound familiar?) Washington’s army took back Boston without even firing a shot prior to the start of the war.

All the schmendricks on the left who say he was a monster (like Columbus which is bullshit too) and Slave owner don’t know their history. Yes, he married into wealth marrying Martha who was a widow but He freed (tried to anyway) all his slaves upon his death in his will.

Thank you for this. It's been in my list of books for a while now. George Washington also dealt with mutinies within his own ranks. Esp after valley forge when his soldiers were freezing
