I don't see John Curtis or Elder on the Life Christian Academy, VA schedule.

The Real LCA lives in Lafayette, La...not in Virginia.

They scheduled D1 Catholic-BR and 5A Acadiana......both won state championships last year. The Real LCA is a D3 team (small, but powerful private)-probably hear from them on the OOS scene soon.

Acadiana will probably be Preseason #1 here and Catholic-BR might be Preseason #2.

The Real LCA has a nice school and facilities.

Catholic-BR will play Good Counsel, MD this year......Considered a Top 10 OOS game this year by the "experts".

The Real LCA schedules Catholic-BR and not a peep.

The Real LCA has won the last 4 D3 State Championships here.....glittered with talent though they did lose some from last year. The Real LCA is trying to do something no other Louisiana team has ever done in any class....win 5 State Championships in a row.

Oh boy, is Gds Christian Academy giving me some USA Academy vibes. Down the rabbit hole we go:

First off, here is their Twitter:

GDSTwitter.png.2e7a461eb0fe962449e08587f40d2700.png

Lots of red flags, besides the obvious copyright issues of just straight up committing identity theft on Penn State. Only 7 tweets/retweets, none since March 3rd and none mentioning the program since December 23rd, 2020. They have no website and no other social media presence. They do have a Hudl account that strangely now appears under the name of Miami International Academy, again with branding ripped straight off a college team, albeit this time more aptly the Miami Hurricanes.

Their head coach is apparently Xavier Carter, former OC at American HS, though I see more tweets about fringe conspiracy theories on his timeline than those about GDS Christian Academy football.

GDS Christian Academy was registered as a corporation in February, 2020. The agent address is a home in a private neighborhood in Miramar. No Google Street View available unfortunately. On another business lookup website, we see a primary address for Gds Christian Academy of 8101 NW 17th Ave, Miami, FL. This appears to be the address of Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, which looks like a very nice Church building, but not really suited to hosting a school. I wonder if the good Reverend Parrott knows that his Church is being used as the primary address for a sketchy "school." Here is the building in question:

I wasn't able to find anything on Charles Brown (too common of a name), but here appears to be Randy Tunsil's Instagram. He seems to be a fan of Dogecoin so let's hope it continues to appreciate in value so he can fund the school. Another site also lists Michael Tunsil as a co-owner. I don't know if this is a brother or cousin or what, but now we appear to be getting somewhere. Michael Tunsil, whose Twitter is accurate as it turns out, is the former HC at Champagnat Catholic. He led them to a state championship in 2013 before stepping down following the 2014 season. His final regular season game saw him take his team off the field and quit the game after getting into a fight with IMG when they were trailing by 40 in the second quarter.

This is actually super relevant because of this: GDS Christian Academy claims to be joining the "best athletic conference in Florida;" the Sunshine State Independent Association (not to be confused with the actual legitimate SSAC: Sunshine State Athletic Conference). Now the SSIA Twitter isn't much to look at, with only 41 tweets and a link that they've put out multiple times to a league website that doesn't exist. It appears they did sponsor a six-team playoff culminating in a championship game at Lakeland HS in 2020 where Tru Prep defeated American Collegiate Academy 22-12. They also host GSB's favorite program the Scientologists of Clearwater Academy International. Also members: IMG Academy's Varsity Team (seriously), former 8-man football program Citi Christian and Akelynn's Angels Christian Academy. To end this, here' a picture from SSIA Twitter listing the purported 2021 members of the league. Why are there at least two ACA's? Why are 90% of the logos either generic clip art or stolen from somewhere? Do more than half these teams exist anywhere other than the internet? This all screams "professional" and "best league in Florida."
