ECHS05
(Highlights beneath my summary) This past weekend, in a game that started on ESPN2 and finished on ESPNews ... Cartersville GA beat Bartram Trail FL 52-45. Early, it looked like it was going to be a slaughter... Cartersville was moving the ball at will with QB Trevor Lawrence & RB Rico Frye. They got up to an advantage of 31-3, and 38-10 at one point in the 2nd quarter. It looked over. But, Bartram Trail would score a TD with 0 seconds left on the clock in the 2nd quarter to make it 38-17 going into halftime. Theyd get the ball after halftime, and drive down to score again to make it 38-24. Theyd then recover a nicely timed onside kick. And drive down to score again to make it 38-31. So BTrail took the score from 38-10 to 38-31 without Cartersville ever touching the ball on offense. By that point we had a ball game... it would eventually end up tied at 45, Cartersville would score and make it 52-45.... and BTrail would drive down, before Cartersvilles defense stepped up and stopped them in the red zone with no time left on the clock... it was a great game. Trevor Lawrence ended up 18 of 22 with 403 passing yards and 5 TDs... check out his highlights...

Bartram wins if they had a half decent secondary, they better hope they can score 50 points every round of playoffs or they probably won't go deep in the 7a playoffs

It is what it is , playa. Ill be keeping up with BTrail this year. Their O is pretty dang good, but their D is a huge liability. Is Mainland looking as good as last year? Mainland has to replace a very good qb and i haven't seen much of them @dan in daytona can tell you a lot more about mainland then i can But if mainland is even as good as last year or even if slightly down i expect them to beat bartram trail when they play Friday
Columbiafan
Bartram secondary has been achilles heel for past 2 playoff eliminations 51-14 loss in 2015 to Columbia 61-59 loss to Lee in 2016 I'll pull up film on both games so you can see firsthand but flat out secondary couldn't stop those offenses and they lost as a result I feel 2017 will be more of the same
