*Tier 1 teams can compete with any other Tier 1teams and possibly win 1+ of 10

*Basically there is a -10 point drop between tiers.  Could vary from 7 to 21 depending on the styles of teams playing.

*Texas teams generally have not played enough games to gauge properly yet

*Tiers are based on exhaustive research, Multiple games watched, and good gut feelings.

*This is a crowd sourced rating. All input will be considered and adjustments will be made as appropriate

Its pretty clear most of his tiering is coming from CalPreps. And thats the problem.

Rome has beat Harrison (Justin Fields) by 12, Kell by 21, and last night Carrollton by 21. Despite where Carrollton is ranked in Georgia by CP, they are better than that.

Rome has quite a bit of top level talent, a good HC, and brought back a lot of returning starters from a State Championship team that beat Buford 16-7 in that game... and its showing.

If Buford is tier 3... Rome HAS to be. They are top 5 in the state in any publication youll find. And #1 in 5A ahead of Buford in every publication youll find.

Rome may very well be in the same group as Buford.  I would probably move Buford down.   I can't find a reason  to think either one of them could stay within 10 points the other teams in that Tier

Want to see their talent?

You realize you have Servite tier 3 right?

Rome is a defending champ with a lot of returning starters and talent that has been creaming people.

Servite is... Servite.

Hasn't Buford already played South Pointe to less than a 10 point differential?

Good stuff.  The only thing holding Ga back on the human rankings is perception.  Part of this is due to new Top teams emerging every year.   Mostly teams OOS guys never heard of (I.e. Rome, Cartersville)

Ga can fix this by scheduling some (multiple)top 100 OOS teams, with  preferably one or two of those being Top 25.  Then we can create a baseline
