They got Norcross’d. Buford recovered/jumped a fumble on a backwards pass inside the Rome 30. They scored on that mini drive and that was it. 5 first downs all night and two of them came on that 30 yard touchdown drive. Rome ran for over 400+ yards on Buford last night. Buford ran for around 40. Dude. What an ass kicking. He had to know that the kid was gonna have to make some plays through the air, but he insisted on running the ball against that dominant front. They could’ve thrown 40x like Bishop Sullivan from Virginia - they weren’t beating this Rome team. Buford’s A+ day is not better than Rome this year. Also, John Reid is very underrated as a coach.
