The truth is, if you look at crude oil production, it actually surged after Trump took over. I could go on and on. Do you really expect the press to say nice things about such a cretin when there are so many negative things to say?   Because they tend to be leftists and pillow-fluffing for leftist candidates is thus in their ideological interest.
