AztecPadre
Great stuff dntn31!! already have this weeks polls up. Jeff has too many NR's. Is it that he is right? Or, everybody is wrong? The comp poll looks honestly, just about right. What say y'all?

Thanks, I haven't posted a new topic yet because I'm still waiting on PrepNation which is typically the last poll to publish their weekly rankings. In regard to number of NRs per poll, the trend seems to be that the computer polls tend to have more NRs than the human polls. If you think about it, that sort of makes sense. The computer polls are (allegedly) objective where the human polls likely suffer more from groupthink. Computer Polls (# of NRs in composite top25) : Massey - 9 CalPreps - 7 HSFBA - 6 Human Polls (# of NRs in composite top25) : PrepNation - 5 (week 3 - still waiting for week 4 rankings) MaxPreps - 4 USAToday - 4 PrepForce -

HawgGoneIt
I like the fact that Jamie DeMoney has Lee County in his top 25. I'm inclined to agree with him on the grounds that none of the Metro 7A teams have the depth that I have argued necessary to dismantle the smaller classification teams. One or two players injured on offense or defense for those metro teams and they're toast against a team like Lee county imo. NATIONAL TOP 25 1. St. John Bosco HS (Bellflower, Calif.), 4-0 2. IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), 3-0 3. Allen HS (Texas), 2-0 4. Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, Calif.), 3-1-x 5. St. Thomas Aquinas HS (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), 3-0 6. St. John’s College HS (Washington), 3-0 7. De La Salle HS (Concord, Calif.), 4-0 8. Centennial HS (Corona, Calif.), 4-0 9. Colquitt County HS (Moultrie, Ga.), 4-0 10. Bergen Catholic HS (Oradell, N.J.), 2-0 11. Warren Central HS (Indianapolis), 4-0 12. Mentor HS (Ohio), 3-0 13. St. Frances Academy (Baltimore), 1-0 14. Lake Travis HS (Austin, Texas), 1-0 15. Carol City HS (Miami), 2-0 16. Miami Central HS (Fla.), 2-1 17. Dutch Fork HS (Irmo, S.C.), 3-0 18. St. Louis School (Honolulu), 3-0 19. Lee County HS (Leesburg, Ga.), 4-0 20. Bingham HS (South Jordan, Utah), 4-0 21. University Lab HS (Baton Rouge, La.), 2-0 22. North Shore HS (Houston), 2-0 23. Centennial HS (Peoria, Ariz.), 3-0 24.
