Does it matter. Let's say sjr gets the 4 seed. They play some slap happy private school from south Jersey and move on.

You get the ring.....what is so bad about just winning the ring?

would you rather play home or away vs BC or Bosco or like last year...played SPP twice at home.....just common sense....why risk a chance to play at home throughout playoffs to what rest your kids against weak public school competition.....that makes no sense...

Well never know if they just had the straight talent to win that game. PC couldn't stop minkah all day. Spp defense ate PC for defense. Can you say it gave them the edge sure. But well never know they played the schedule they played

PC didn't have a problem stopping minkah... the game was a tight game until late 3rd when Ahmad Thomas fumbled in own territory,  Hubbert blocks a punt that sticks to his hand and returns it for TD, PC misses 2 extra point kicks, and uncharacteristically commits 5 turnovers.

Two takeaways:

SPP doesn't leave NJ the entire season

DPC hasn't scheduled an OOS game since 2015 (GC, Poly, Elder)

The RED division teams have more opportunities for OOS games than DP has.

(I've already gone into this.)

What's the advantage/difference to DP to play OOS games over scheduling BC, DBP, SPP, PC & sjr?

(Combined with their 3 divisional games that leaves DP with one possibility for an OOS game.)

OTOH, SPP, frinstance, is compelled to play only the 4 other RED division teams.  They can work out the rest of the schedule to their own satisfaction...

they have no choice but schedule red teams that is the reason for this grouping to guarantee games.

who they?  certainly not DP!  DP doesn't have to play all the 5 Red division teams.  In fact, they're the only White division team that does so!  All the others woosed out.

Hell, delbarton doesn't even play ONE Red division team this year!

Pope John played all 5 Red division teams last year and went 2-8.  They dropped sjr and replaced them with Livingston.

SHP plays maybe one or two Red division teams...

p.s. it appears here that DP's two scrimmages are: St. Augustine and Malvern Prep...
