Not So fast.  You have made information on this event -  Texas relays had two sections in this event

Houston Strake Jesuit ran 7:50.90 and would have been first at either event

Richmond Foster TX ran 7:54.03 and would have been first at the mobile challenge too

I went with the big class as was posted in this thread.......

Baton Rouge Catholic our 2016 5A Track Champ had a good Mobile Challenge of Champions showing....Top 5 finish in 6 events.

One of the best overall Track programs in the nation yearly without a doubt.

Besides the sprints how did Desoto (6A TX Champ) do as a team at the Texas Relays?

Both States ran Wind Legal times. Schwartz broke Demps FL Relays Record. Texas Kid runs a smoking 10.26 too.
Each had 5 kids run sub 10.5's. Like I said you might have a kid in NC or Ar. or anywhere run faster some
years than these 2 states. But he damn sure want have 5 -8 other kids on his ass this separates Texas
and Florida from every other State.

As always, excellent work with the track info DD (TXball too)!  Texas had +2.1 m/s, so not wind legal by .1 for any record books, but of course those times were very fast times from TX and 10.26 maybe goes to 10.27 :)  Those times are legit at +2.1 simply put.    TX race slowest was 10.6, FL 10.62... talk about speed.

You are correct TexBall let me know it was just over.  Keen insight brother.  Both had blazing speed for sure. 5 under 10.5 in each state and the kids that ran a 10.5 were dead on it too.

Just for the the record - Trey Cunnigham is from Winfield Alabama not Louisiana - He was already the #1 ranked kid in the nation in this event

That white kid ripped the field in NYC indoors.  He's faster than Thomas from FL.  He made the min. standard for USA Nationals to attempt to qualify for World's... but he's got Devon Allen among others to qualify against.

I remember that name... it's cool following these kids thru the next levels.
