Trump is doing better with Hispanics in Florida

In U.S. congressional races nationwide, an estimated 69% of Latinos voted for the Democratic candidate and 29% backed the Republican candidate

Hispanics had a gender gap in voting preference, with 73% of Hispanic women and 63% of Hispanic men backing the Democratic congressional candidates.

In Florida, Republican candidates often win a larger share of the Hispanic vote than elsewhere, in part due to a large population of Cubans that has tended to vote more Republican than other Hispanic groups. In the Senate race, 54% of Hispanics voted for Democrat Bill Nelson and 45% backed Republican Rick Scott. Latinos voted similarly in the race for governor, with 54% of Hispanics voting for Democrat Andrew Gillum and 44% voting for Republican Ron DeSantis.

Damn, must be another Florida,

Hillary took 2/3 of the Florida Hispanic vote and lost the state.  If Trump gets 40%, Florida is a blowout.

Desantis won his seat with 44% so yeah your premise would be correct

Republicans got 44 and 45% Hispanic vote and won in desantis and Scott

This article represents the Democrats’ fear.  Sure white liberals are energized by Trump hate, but not at all clear other parts of the Democratic base are so inflamed.  The “resistance” is largely a white phenomenon - sure others will vote against Trump and the GOP, but not clear the intense hatred is there.  If Trump makes inroads among minorities, there are not enough white liberals to compensate.

Trump needs to get black approval around 20% or so. If he can do that he will have 2020. The dems are already on a path to self destruction

Trump cannot overlook Warren. I'm starting to believe she will be the candidate

Democrats do fear this - so watch out for a campaign designed to counter that.  Even more attempts to paint Trump as racist.  But that runs the risk of alienating independent voters.  A Democratic conundrum....

He paints them into a corner each and everyday.

The only thing I dont like is he trusts Kushner sometimes too much and I'm not sure Kushner is the hardliner like trump esp on immigration

If Trump gets near 15% of the AA vote, the election is a slaughter.
