Omaha Vol
Sammy’s not gonna like you having Servite so low at #91. Lol Speaking of Cali teams I have Corona Del Mar moving up a lot in my poll after they thrashed a good Cajon team. They are just outside my top 60 now. Good overall poll.

In fact, I had them the next team in until New Pal's big win over Cathedral. Although I am not a big fan of game to game comparisons, the Fighting Irish were with Elder for the entire game and New Pal just dominated them in the second half. In fact, even though they are a 5A team, they are Indiana's best team this season. I have hesitated to put Chicago Mt. Carmel in as they seem to struggle each week, but after twelve consecutive wins, it is just hard to ignore them any longer. I like Elder over Colerain this weekend which should catapult them into the poll next week with a win.
abbatt
Whiteshoes, Chicago Mt.Carmel doesn`t struggle each week.......they are a big, physical grind out team that will go on a 10 play 65 yd drive for a TD and take 5 minutes off the clock. Their Def is fast and stout and have only given up a handful of sustained drives this year. I like their chances to win 7A this year because of their size, strength and tradition. East .St. Louis is way to good for 6A......they are demolishing teams in the play-offs......44-0....70-28...60-0. They should be in 7 or even 8A. with the big boys. Lincoln -Way East is the favorite in 8A...but Gurnee Warren is capable as of winning it all as well. LWE is playing a very hot Chicago Marist this week....Marist beat Loyola twice in the last 3 weeks including 41-27 at Loyola last week. Nazarath Academmy is playing very well now and must also be considered a strong favorite led by Michigan commit...J.J McCarthy at QB. abbatt
Omaha Vol, Not if ESL plays up to their abilities. This team has a lot of weapons......more than I have seen since the late 2000`s. They still get too many penalties.......around 18-22 a game....also they still don`t have a reliable kicker for extra points and FG`S. ESL should beat a good Chatham-Glenwood team by 48-17. Prairie Ridge will take care of an over-achieving Deerfield team..35-7. ESL over Prairie Ridge 44--23 for the championship.
