HSFBfan
From Andrew Marr, who is at the count in Boris Johnson’s seat, Uxbridge and South Ruislip Andrew Marr(@AndrewMarr9) For all of those expecting the unexpected in Uxbridge… Labour are now conceding that Boris Johnson will win here… We have been beaten, possibly badly, but we have not been battered said one source. HSFBfan
Conservative sources claim they have taken the Labour-held seat of Wakefield, the Press Association reports. Mary Creagh is a senior Labour backbencher and was chairwoman of the environmental audit select committee in the last Parliament. Wakefield is a Tory target and it would take a 2.35% swing to win. HSFBfan
From Corbyn leader of the labour party Corbyn says he will not lead Labour into another election Jeremy Corbyn is still speaking. He says the pressure on people in the public life is high. And the attacks on people in public life are disgusting. He thanks his family, particularly his wife, for all she has had put up with, especially because of the attacks from the media. He says it has been a “very disappointing night” for Labour. But the party put forward a manifesto of hope, he says. And he says the party’s policies were popular. But Brexit has polarised debate, he says. He says the issues of social justice will not go away. They will come back. And the fundamental Labour message is one that will be there for all time. I will not lead the party in any future general election campaign. But he says a discussion will take place as to what happens next.

HSFBfan
Jessica Murray The Tories took the Labour stronghold, gaining Redcar with a 12.84% increase in vote share (see 2.50am). The Labour candidate, Anna Turley, has been the constituency’s MP since 2015 and has previously been critical of Jeremy Corbyn, quitting his shadow cabinet in 2016 and saying he was “completely out of touch with reality”. The seat has been Labour since 1974, other than when it was briefly held by the Lib Dems between 2010 and 2015. In 2017, Labour took 55.5% of the votes, significantly ahead of the Conservatives’ 33%. Here are the results: Jacob Young (Conservatives) 18,811 (46.06% - up 12.84%) Anna Turley (Labour) 15,284 (37.42% - down 18.08%) Jacqui Cummins (Brexit Party) 2,915 (7.14%) Karen King (Liberal Democrats) 2,018 (4.94% - down 1.75%) Frankie Wales (Independent) 1,323 (3.24%) Rowan Mclaughlin (Green) 491 (1.20%)

Everyone else is being squeezed out. Democrats are going to be stunned when minorities begin to vote GOP. Labour got beat by 11% last night. A similar beating for the Democrats may occur in the next decade.

An open letter to the democrat parties In 2016 here in america the voters in our electoral system stood up and rejected your liberal policies that your party shoved down the throats of Americans for 8 years. We also rejected the corrupt ways of the united states government as well. We are done with being overwhelmed at the border with foreign nationals coming into our country. We have rejected the drug trade coming in from other countries and getting ripped off in trade. We have rejected the entire liberal way of life. Last night in the UK the people are sick of the same things. They were sick of the labour party not listening to the people. The people voted Brexit in 2016 and the labour party did nothing to get that done. Last night was a direct shoutout the UK government to listen to the will of the people or get run over. You can say Trump being in office here have shown the people of the world u can throw out the people who wont listen to you and put in someone who will get things done. I've been listening to the BBC last night and the majority of people who voted tory last night have never voted tory in their lives. Well see what percentage of them stay tory when boris is done with his agenda as the liberals have no way in stopping him. You can protests all over this world and the people are sick of being ignored by their governments. The warning shots have been shot across the world. In the words of the labour member last night start listening to your people stop ignoring democracy or get bit in the ass

Bormio
The added benefit is Johnson kicked some of the TINOs (Tory in name only) out of the party by removing the whip. So there are far fewer Tory rebels in the HoC now.

Bormio
It was a “People vs Parliament” election. The people showed who is boss. The Lib Dem chick thought going full-on Remain was going to land her in Downing Street. Instead the Lib Dems lost seats, including hers.
Mjd33
https://www.yahoo.com/news/labour-general-election-conservatives-070954570.html What a lot of people don’t realize is that a world where nations maintain sovereignty and we have fragmentation based on the interests of specific nations is a world where the socialists and eco-nuts can’t ram their ideas down our throats. Globalists Like Obama, Tradeau, Merkel, Khan etc are poisons.
