Notre Dame has no business being in the top five based off of their collection of work to this point; season opener versus Shadow Ridge (8-22 last three seasons) was a 10-3 game at the half, and they couldn't hold a 20-7 fourth quarter lead against the same Desert Edge squad that was held to 27 yards passing against Centennial the week earlier. Queen Creek probably shouldn't be there either; as soon as people fully understand that the Hamilton everyone knew isn't coming back this year the win the Bulldogs just notched will lose a lot of its shine. My 5A top ten based strictly off of how each team has played thus far would be (in order) Centennial-Williams Field-Cienega-Ironwood Ridge-Liberty.
