It really bothers me when folks think the poor should be void of all dignity. If they don't fit into their idea of what poor is, they are bums, using the system. Some people will live in a shack in order to afford nice sneakers and a new car. If I was in the situation where I had to settle, which I have been in the past, i choose to live in the nicer place and drive a beater. It's just a preference thing. I see it all the time where people that would choose the same as myself on living in the nicer place and drive the beater like to point and judge the person that lives in the shack and drives the caddy and has clean new sneakers.
