Just an interesting observation from most of the spring game threads...

Seems like no team's offense looks spectacular at this early point in the season, which makes all the defenses look great. Spring games favor the defenses almost always.

Nice write-up @Columbiafan

But generally i agree, usually defenses look stronger in spring,  maybe because it's easier to install defensive plays earlier than offensive plays and as a result offenses might go into spring game with limited playbooks

Nonsense.  Calif teams have their entire offense ready in week one.

If your team doesn't have its offense together by the end of Spring practice, they will not be much better during the season.

Most Ga teams don't do well offensively anyways.  Just look at past results.  Ga is about defense, and the Ga defensive reputation benefits from the below ave offenses.

GA had the #1 Dual QB and #1 Pro QB last year... I think our offenses are fine.

I remember SJB scoring 3 points vs. a not-that-great STA team Week 1 last season.

You guys have great offenses when playing each other.

CA has a combined 12 offensive points in 2 games vs GA.

I enjoy Neapolitan & Rocky Road ice cream...

Check out the writeup on the game on page 1

It might help when getting a early idea for not only region 1 of 7a but also on bartram trail who plays oos this year

So no hyper improvement for the DLS offense?

A couple guys.... but post a video of your QB so we can judge for ourselves.

I posted highlights for all our players with offers on another thread

However I don't know if any film is up from the game on Friday but if it isn't up currently there should be highlights up soon but unfortunately they don't show much film except for the highlight films the players make

Qb looks like a good play maker.  Has so so arm strength, and lacking footwork.  Would prolly benefit from a good QB coach.

He did look like he had a stronger arm against Bartram Trail on Friday then he had last year but he also held onto the ball too long and took unnessisary sacks

He does have fundamental stuff to get better at but I think he can with more experience since this would be his first year as a full time starter and they should be able to work with him a lot more now then he got when he was only a part time starter

But as you said he's a play maker so if a play breaks down he can probably pick up a few yards and also gives us the ability to run zone read plays which will open up our WRs which gives our offense another weapon to utilize
