MA Fan
That's a really impressive showing by Peoria Central. Vernon Hills totally shut down Nazareth and Marian earlier in the playoffs. Tim Thornton has to be one of the best coaches in the state with what he's done at Woodruff and now Central.

Bucfootball90
Peoria has some stud athletes. Their qb was very impressive and a junior I believe. 6'3" 205 lbs. He can run and throw a good ball.

MA Fan
Probably have to go back a long way to find a year where just one Catholic school won a title. Might have to go back even further to find a game where Sacred Heart-Griffin was beaten so badly.
Gospeeder
That is what makes following IL football so interesting. They seem to have a good balance between the Pubs and the Privates ( which used not be the case ) and come playoff time, you just don't know. There are lots of good programs there with competitive crossover from 6 to 8A.

Gospeeder
The multiplier is an influential factor but they seem to have the recruiting factor more stable among the schools as well.
