“It remains to be seen whether the CIF will approve that for California. The CIF has had authority to use instant replay for basketball but declined for cost reasons.”

I think we'll see a lot of that type dissent until enough people raise enough hell about kids getting cheated by a bad call.

This is just paving the way and clearing it from a federation standpoint.

The right kid with powerful enough parents ends up on the losing end of a horrible call it'll get done.

Too bad IMG isn't playoff eligible

The state of FL representatives are so far up IMG ass that they would apply under that only instead of powerful parents it's powerful people financially backing them

Looks like my Rummel Raiders will get a 40 second play clock when we invade Charlotte to war with Charlotte Catholic..

New rules coming to North Carolina high school football will include a longer play clock and the possibility of video review during playoff games in the near future.

In an effort to establish a more consistent time period between downs in high school football, the play clock will start at 40 seconds instead of 25 seconds in many cases, beginning with the 2019 season, according to new rules handed down by the National Federation of State High School Association.
