They made the FCS playoffs in football this year and have done so several times. Have a fine athletic program. Beautiful new basketball arena. Former owner of the Panthers, Jerry Richardson, is an alum. Has given much $ to Wofford. And the guard Fletcher McGee is a deadly shooter from almost anywhere. They has something like a 18-2 run to win that game. UNCG gave them hell on the defensive side of the ball for most of the game.
