sausmann9
what would be the down side to a minor league football league similar to the AAF but for players that are right out of high school but yet too young for NFL. also could be a league for injured pro players to rehab at a slower pace without the major league hits. could be for kids that figure out college is not for them after one year on campus and still have NFL potential. I still can't figure out where/how the AAF went wrong (I have no business experience other than small family landscape business which required little to no effort whats so ever) would this league work IF the NFL adopts these teams as minor league teams of their pro teams??? NFL backing, minor league teams in 20 or so major NFL cities. Could compete for top talent out of high school. But the greatest difference would be these players would be getting paid to play from the start unlike playing for a college.

Only people it would hurt is the greedy worthless pricks in the NCAA and to that i say good riddance I would love to see a true development league for football
bigrobstercraws
The only way a minor league works is if the NFL throws money at it.
HawgGoneIt
I agree with the other guys so far. The NCAA and NFL are bedfellas though so, it would be tough for the NFL to support a league where kids weren't required to go to college first. Why would the NFL throw money at an AAF or other developmental league when they have a free (to them) developmental league in the NCAA? Why would they sink money into a league largely made up of players that couldn't cut it in the NFL to begin with?
